Composition

The song was written and produced by FRANTS, Pdogg and "hitman" bang. Several other producers also participated in wrting the song: Hwang Hyun from MonoTree, Hannah Robinson, Richard Phillips, Alex Nese, Chendy, Noh Joo-hwan, Kim Jin and Gu Yeo-reum from Makeumine Works, Lee Seu-ran and Eunha and Yuju from GFriend.[1]

Chart performance

The song debuted and peaked at number 54 on the Gaon Digital Chart for the week ending July 18, 2020.[2] The song also placed at number 7 on the componing Download Chart and number 74 the week of the release of the song on the componing Streaming Chart.[3][4]

Music video

On June 17, 2020, a source reported that: "GFriend recently wrapped up filming the music video for their title track. Throughout the filming, the staff on set were surprised by GFriend’s shocking transformation."[5] The music video was then released on Big Hit Labels' Youtube channel on July 13, 2020, along with the EP. On July 18, a choreography version of the music video was released.
