Eris Abedini

Eris Abedini (born 29 August 1998) is a Kosovan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Swiss club FC Wil and Kosovo U21 National Team.

Professional career

A youth product of FC Lugano, Abedini begun his senior career with a 2-year loan at FC Chiasso.[2] Abedini made his professional debut for Lugano in a 1-1 Swiss Super League tie with FC Zürich on 19 May 2018.[3]

Abedini was loaned out to FC Winterthur on 4 January 2019, for the rest of the season.[4] On 16 July 2019 Abedini joined FC Wil on a contract until June 2021.[5]

International career

Abedini was born in Switzerland and is of Kosovan Albanian descent.[6] Abedini was a youth international for Switzerland before switching allegiance to Kosovo.[7]
