Elsie Arntzen
Elsie Arntzen (born May 7, 1956) is an American politician from the U.S. state of Montana who currently serves as the Superintendent of Public Instruction of the State of Montana. Prior to this, she was a member of the Montana Legislature. She was elected to House District 53[1] which represents a portion of the Yellowstone County area. In 2013 and 2015 she served as a state Senator. [2]

In 2014, she ran in the Republican primary for the U.S. House of Representatives. She finished fourth, with 6.8% of the vote. Arntzen previously worked as a 5th grade school teacher for the Billings School District.[3]
