Elophila tinealis
Elophila tinealis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Munroe in 1972.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Michigan, Ontario and New York, south to Florida and west to Texas.[2] The habitat consists of swamps and wet woods.

The wingspan is about 10 mm. Both the fore- and hindwings are dark brown to blackish with a silvery-white patch in the medial area and some white dots. Adults have been recorded on wing from July to September.
