There are currently three recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Ekemblemaria lira Hastings, 1992
- Ekemblemaria myersi J. S. Stephens, 1963 (Reefsand blenny)
- Ekemblemaria nigra (Meek & Hildebrand, 1928) (Moth blenny)
