Eastville, Georgia

Eastville is an unincorporated community in Oconee County, in the U.S. state of Georgia.[1]

History

A post office called Eastville was in operation from 1891 until 1893.[2] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the place in 1906 as the "Town of Eastville".[3] The community was named after one Mr. Silas East.[4] The town's municipal charter was dissolved in 1995.[4]
