East Is West (1922 film)
East Is West is an extant[1] 1922 American silent drama film directed by Sidney Franklin and starring Constance Talmadge.[2] The film is based on a 1918 Broadway stage play starring Fay Bainter as Ming Toy.[3] It was remade as a talkie at Universal in 1930 with Lupe Vélez. A copy of the film is held at the EYE Film Institute Netherlands, formerly Filmmuseum Nederlands.
