East Fife G.W.F.C.

East Fife Girls and Women's Football Club are a Scottish women's football team based in the Fife coastal town of Leven. The team, established in 2000, were originally named Kirkland Ladies and changed to East Fife Ladies in 2002. They currently compete in the Scottish Women's Football League First Division (North).[3]

East Fife won the SWFL North in 2016 and were promoted to the SWPL 2.[4] The team finished in 7th place out of 8 teams in the SWPL 2 in 2017 and were relegated back into the SWFL North for the 2018 season.[5]

The club has teams at under-9, under-11, under-13, under-15 (joined with Cupar Violet), under-17 (joined with Cupar Violet) and Ladies (17+).

Achievements

  • East Fife won the 2016 SWFL 1 North title, gaining promotion to SWPL 2 for the first time. They defeated Dunfermline Athletic 4–2 to secure the league title on 16 October 2016.[6]

2009–10 season, finished 5th in the SWFL Second Division South East.
2008–09 season, finished 9th (second bottom) in the SWFL Second Division South East, East And Central.
2007–08 season, finished 6th in the SWFL Third Division South.
