Club career

Viitorul Constanța

Nedelcu made his professional debut for Viitorul Constanța on 18 July 2014, in a Cupa Ligii match against FC Botoșani. His first Liga I appearance came ten days later in a 0–0 away draw with Politehnica Iași.

FCSB

On 10 August 2017, Nedelcu was signed by FCSB on a five-year contract with a 50 million release clause.[2][3] He had initially refused to join the team one month earlier, stating that he dreams of playing abroad.[4] The deal also included the transfer of his Viitorul Constanța teammate Romario Benzar and cost the capital-based club a combined €2.7 million.[5] Viitorul kept procents of a future transfer fee, which were bought in November for another €500,000.[6]

Nedelcu made his debut for the Roș-albaștrii in a 1–1 league draw with Astra Giurgiu on 12 August.[7] On 5 November, he scored his first goal in a 2–1 victory over Concordia Chiajna.[8]

International career

In November 2016, Nedelcu received his first call-up to the senior Romania squad for the matches against Poland and Russia,[9] making his debut against the latter.[10]
