Taxonomy
Rolán & Rubio (2002: 46) hold Discopsis as a valid genus, distinct from Cochliolepis Stimpson, 1858, on the grounds that the latter belongs in the family Vitrinellidae and the former in Tornidae. This should be reevaluated in the perspective that both families are considered synonyms. Adam & Knudsen (1969) may have been right in placing the West African species in Cochliolepis.[1]

gollark: I loaded up a copy of your brain from the trans-universal travel logs, and it says that you are in fact lying.
gollark: It's true. PotatoCLOUD™ encompasses all.
gollark: Ridiculous. All universes are connected to the PotatoCLOUD™ grid.
gollark: Hmm, yes, you were right, I couldn't hack it directly somehow. But I just hacked the multiverse and changed the settings on your universe, so now I can hack it.
gollark: No, of all universes, obviously.
