Dirty Creature
"Dirty Creature" is a single from New Zealand art rock group Split Enz's seventh album Time and Tide. It was written by Tim Finn, Nigel Griggs and Neil Finn and released as the forthcoming album's lead single in March 1982.[1]

Tim Finn had been suffering from panic attacks at the time, and co-wrote the song as a relief for his condition.[2]

Chart performance
The song entered the New Zealand top 40 chart at 7 on 25 April 1982 and spent 18 weeks in the charts, peaking at 3.[3] In Australia, it debuted at 26 and peaked at 6 in its fourth week on chart.[4]
