Diego Oliveira Silva

Diego Oliveira Silva (born 26 December 1990 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a Forward for V.League 1 club Hải Phòng.[3]

Club career

Brazil

Diego Silva was born in Brazil. Since his childhood he likes playing football in his locality. In 2009, he joined Guarulhos academy in Brazil. After developing footballing skills at academy level. He signed first professional contract with AD Guarulhos in 2011. In 2013, he moved to Parana and signed with GRECAL and in 2014 he moved to Santacruzense.[4]

Antigua and Barbuda

In 2014, he moved to Antigua and Barbuda and signed with Five Islands, after impressive season he gained interest from other Antigua and Barbuda clubs. In next season he preferred signing with Parham.

Đồng Tháp

In 2016, Diego have received offer from Vietnam club Dong Thap.[5] After a season with Dong Thap in Vietnam, he moved to Thailand.

BTU United

In 2017, Diego sigend with Bangkok based club BTU United. In 2017 Thai League 4 Western Region, Diego scored 13 goals in the season and BTU gained promotion to Thai League 3. Being top scorer in the league, Diego received offer from NakhonPathom United.

NakhonPathom United

In 2018, Diego Silva signed with Thai League 4 side Nakhonpathom United and gained promotion to Thai league 3. He was the top scorer for Nakhonpathom scoring 29 goals and signed another season contract with them. In 2019, Diego again showed his brilliant performance and become top scorer in Thai league 3 as well scoring 13 goals. NakhonPathom won Thai league 3 and gained promotion to Thai League 2. [6][7]

Hải Phòng

After impressive performance in 2019 season with NakhonPathom, Diego has been offered by many clubs in South East asian countries. Diego put pen to paper with Vietnamese club Hai Phong in Janury 2020. [8]
