Deta is a town in Timiș County in Banat, western Romania. It administers a single village, Opatița.

In German: Detta; in Hungarian: Detta; in Serbian: Дета / Deta. Opatița is known as Ungarisch-Opatitz in German, and as Magyarapáca in Hungarian.
