Dayangdang
Barangay Dayangdang is one of the 27 Barangay of the City of Naga in the Province of Camarines Sur, Bicol Region of the Philippines.

Geography
Barangay Dayangdang is an urban area of 0.2957 square kilometres (0.1142 sq mi). As of 2003 it constituted 0.38% of the total land area of Naga City.[1] It is situated east of Barangay Balatas with Barangay Sta. Cruz to the west. Barangay Tinago is immediately to the south and Barangay Peñafrancia lies to the north.[1]
The soil type of the area is Pili clay loam.[1] The Naga River flows through the north east of the area and with a high risk of flood to the residential area.[1]
The residential area occupies the majority land area of Barangay Dayangdang with 0.2613 square kilometers or 88.37%, while the commercial area is 0.0241 square kilometers or 8.15% and lastly the river occupies 0.0103 hectares or 3.48%.[1]
Transport
Transport within the area includes pedicabs, tricycles, multi-cabs and the traditional horse-drawn kalesa.[1]

The total number of households as of 1998 was 921, with an average of 6 individuals per household.
Settlement and housing data
The Community Multi-Sectoral Assembly that was conducted in September 1998 shows that out of 936 households, 244 or 26% are two story or multi-story, 86 or 9% are split level and the remaining 606 or 65% are single story. Moreover, 361 or 39% are in High Risk with light materials, 61 or 7% are in Medium Risk with Semi-concrete building with G.I. Roofing, 79 or 8% are in Low Risk with Concrete frame with G.I. Roof and Walls and the remaining 435 or 46% are No Risk.

Labor force
The labor force of Barangay Dayangdang numbers 814. Among workers aged 15-64, 13.33% or 456 are professionals, 2.40% or 82 are in vocational or technical fields, laborers composed 7.75% or 265, self-employed numbered 0.82 % or 28 individuals, while overseas contract workers included 0.26 % or 9 persons. The remaining 75.44% or 2,580 of the labor force are in school, have undergone further studies, or are unemployed. A total of 217 or 3.93% have retired or have their own business.
Health
The top five illnesses in the Barangay are cardiopulmonary arrest, pneumonia, cardiac arrest, hypovolemic shock and hepatic encephalopathy.
Sex
Barangay Dayangdang has a minimal discrepancy in numbers between Male and Female population. The latter has 2,726 individuals while a male has 2801, having a difference of 75 in number or 2.67% in percentage. Hence, the number and percentage of females in governance are 4 or 36.36% and the total contribution percentage of females in the labor force is 49.47% giving a number of 1,692 females working in the labor force.

Economy and investment
The primary occupations are small scale entrepreneur, carpentry, tricycle driver, laborer, employee and farming.
Some 40 commercial establishments operate in the Barangay which include a bakery, eatery, carenderia, general merchandise, insurance company, nursery, cut flowers, small scale entrepreneur, and liquor wholesaler.
