Dawn Valley, Alberta
Dawn Valley is an unincorporated community in Alberta, Canada within Parkland County that is recognized as a designated place by Statistics Canada.[1] It is located on the south side of Township Road 540, 0.8 km (0.50 mi) west of Highway 779.
Demographics
As a designated place in the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, Dawn Valley recorded a population of 185 living in 58 of its 58 total private dwellings, a change of -8.4% from its 2011 population of 202. With a land area of 1.21 km2 (0.47 sq mi), it had a population density of 152.9/km2 (396.0/sq mi) in 2016.[2]
As a designated place in the 2011 Census, Dawn Valley had a population of 202 living in 55 of its 56 total dwellings, a 4.1% change from its 2006 population of 194. With a land area of 1.22 km2 (0.47 sq mi), it had a population density of 165.6/km2 (428.8/sq mi) in 2011.[3]
