Dark Angel (Lee Hyori album)

Dark Angel is the second studio album by South Korean singer Lee Hyori. It was released on February 11, 2006. The album features singles "Get Ya!", "Shall We Dance?", and "Straight Up". It is notable for the plagiarism controversy regarding her first single, "Get Ya!", which was accused of copying Britney Spears' single "Do Somethin'". Although a follow-up single was quickly prepared, sales were lower than expected, and promotional activities were stopped. After the release of the single "Dark Angel", promotions for the album ended.

Controversy

The first single from her album, "Get Ya!" was accused of plagiarizing Britney Spears's "Do Somethin'," as proposed by the composer of the American pop star's hit. After the news started to spread, Lee and her record company announced that promotion of the single would be quickly halted, and that she would have a short break from activities in order to promote her follow-up single "Shall We Dance?". This was the last single of the album to be promoted by Lee, although "Straight Up" was released as the last single from the album.

gollark: On the "I just want opencomputers to do what I want", it does not *know* what you want, and "I want it to display the RF here" is not a precise enough specification. A precise enough specification of what you want (which is also in a format the computer can understand) would be... code.
gollark: It can't interact with stuff outside the game (except internet cards), and you can edit, download, and do whatever else to it from within an OC computer.
gollark: This does *not* run "outside the game".
gollark: You can write software, in the form of Lua scripts, for OpenComputers computers.
gollark: Are you deliberately ignoring everything we have repeatedly and fairly clearly said?
