gollark: The first one is the actual data, the second one is metadata (currently just the hash of the data section).
gollark: You are wrong. Anyway, the manifests are effectively just two lines of deterministic JSON (i.e. JSON with all keys sorted and no whitespace, so it'll always hash the same way).
gollark: Eventually I could even start signing the manifests so that you could safely download potatOS from *anywhere* and verify that it's the right thing easily.
gollark: So if it detects a new manifest, it can check the hashes of all stored files, redownload the changed ones, and verify them against the manifest.
gollark: Instead of just having potatOS ping pastebin every five minutes to check for new versions of the main code, it will be able to look for a manifest containing SHA256 hashes of all the files and also cryptographic signatures.

- Clan records show that Kushte family although migrated to Ratnagiri & Sindhudurg, continued naming their children in typical Konkani style ending with Shet. Some names go as following- Vishram Shet, Gana Shet, Babi Shet, etc. In later days however they have just adapted Kushte as a last name.

- Cortalim or Kutthalle formerly known as Kushsthale. (transition from kushtahalli to kutthalle) It was the first place that underwent Goa Inquisition & also a major port of Portuguese in India for trade. It was home to‘Kaivalya Matha’ which was later shifted near Bandoda/Bandivade Adjacent to this stands a place named Koste indicating Kushte being alternate name for Cortalim and as the people migrated from there to this place in Kavale, it got its name.
- In year 2000 a Kaul Prasad at Shree Shantadurga Devi of Kavale & Shree Kamakshi Devi Shiroda, said that “Shree Kamakshi Devi is kuldevi of Kushte & they haven’t visited her for a lot of generations”. Since then Kushte(s) from various places annually visit Shree Kamakshi Devi temple at shiroda.
