Cloie Syquia Skarne

Cloie Helena Syquia-Concepcion (born 17 August 1994) is a Swedish-Filipino actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Earth Sweden 2016. She represented Sweden at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant where she finished among the Top 8.[1][2][3][4][5]

Personal life

Cloie was born on 17 August 1994 in Djursholm, Sweden. She studied Chinese language and global management at the Stockholm University. She is Filipino actress/TV anchor KC Concepcion’s half sister. Cloie is an ambassador for Operation Smile Philippines. She is the daughter of Gabby Concepcion with ex-wife, former model and actress Jenny Syquia. After divorcing Gabby, Jenny remarried and Cloie adopted the surname of her step father, Filip Skarne.[6][7][8]

Pageantry

On 28 August 2016, Cloie was crowned as Miss Earth Sweden 2016. She succeeded outgoing Miss Earth Sweden 2015 Maria Taipaleenmäki, and will now represent Sweden at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant where she finished among the Top 16 semifinalists. On 23 September 2018, Cloie joined Miss Universe Sweden 2018 held at the Café Opera in Stockholm where she placed as 1st Runner Up.[9][10][11][12]
