Cleopatra Coleman

Cleopatra Coleman (born 29 October 1987) is an Australian actress. She is known for playing Erica on the American comedy series The Last Man on Earth.

Life and career

Coleman was born in Wentworth Falls, to a Jamaican-born mother, Turquoise Coleman, and Mick Coleman, an Australian father of English descent, and grew up in the alternative community of Byron Bay, New South Wales.

In 2005 Coleman was cast as a lead in the sci-fi teenage drama Silversun for ABC (Australian TV channel) and Seven Network.

In 2006, Coleman was cast in the recurring role of Glenn Forrest in Neighbours.[1] Coleman has appeared in other Australian television programs, including Blue Heelers, Holly's Heroes, Wicked Science and season 3 of City Homicide.

In 2008, Coleman appeared in the television series Elephant Princess and in stage productions of Simon Stephens's Motortown with Melbourne's Red Stitch Actors Theatre and succ with Ezy-Peezy Productions. In 2009, Coleman appeared in a guest role in the television series "City Homicide". In 2010, she spent three months in Los Angeles securing representation, and then returned to Australia for a guest role in the television series Rush. In 2011, Coleman co-wrote, executive-produced, and starred in the short film Trains, the first project for Coleman/Coleman productions, created by Cleopatra Coleman and her father, Mick Coleman. In the same year, she was cast as DJ Penelope in Step Up Revolution, a film released on 27 July 2012. In 2012, she was featured in music videos by Nervo ("You're Gonna Love Again") and Far East Movement ("Change Your Life"). In 2014, Coleman was featured in a music video by Galantis ("Runaway (U & I)").

In 2014, Coleman was cast as a regular cast member in the Fox comedy series The Last Man on Earth. She played the role of Erica for four seasons.[2]

In 2017 Coleman wrote, produced and starred in the environmental sci-fi thriller Hover for Syfy Films.

In 2018 and 2019 she starred in In the Shadow on the Moon for Netflix directed by Jim Mickle as well as the independent comedy The Argument directed Robert Schwartzman.
