Club career
In 2008, Arsenal were reported to be interested in securing the youngster's services.[1][2]
After making just 20 starts at PSG in the 2012–13 season, Chantôme joined Toulouse on loan until the end of the 2013–14 Ligue 1 season on 21 August 2013, and was assigned the number 6 shirt.[3]
In January 2015, Chantôme left Paris after 15 years with the club, signing an 18-month contract with FC Girondins de Bordeaux.[4]
In June 2016, after having a difficult season with Bordeaux, Chantôme signed with Rennes on a three-year deal.[5]
In 2017, Chantôme joined Ligue 2 side RC Lens on loan.[6]
On 30 August 2018, Chantôme agreed the termination of his contract with Rennes.[7] Eight days later, he joined Red Star on a three-year deal.[8] He reportedly accepted a monthly salary of €20,000, the highest of Red Star's squad, after earning about €100,000 a month at Rennes.[9]
International career
In 2008, Chantôme was a member of France U21 side.[10]
He earned his only cap for the senior national team in a 0–1 Friendly loss against Japan on 12 October 2012. He came on as a substitute for Blaise Matuidi in the 46th minute of the game, but was replaced by Bafétimbi Gomis after 30 minutes.[11]
