Synopsis
An escaped convict, heading to Los Angeles, has gotten hold of a canister that he thinks has heroin. It is really Cobalt-60, a substance dangerous enough to kill everyone in the city. Exposure to the element is slowly killing him, as authorities try to locate him and the canister.
