History and profile

Ciak d'oro

The Ciak d'oro (Golden Ciak) is an Italian annual film award. It was established in 1986 by the magazine Ciak.

It is the only award of Italian cinema that has the audience as jury:[3] the readers of the magazine vote the best film, the best director, the best leading actors and the best foreign film of the season, instead the best supporting actors and the winners of the Ciak d'oro for technical categories and for Best Debut are designed by a jury of film critics and specialized journalists.[4]

gollark: It's probably irrelevant though, as I doubt *that* many people actually care about having the arbitrary ownership token™ in the first place and have the technical knowledge to check in much detail whether you actually do have it.
gollark: Smart contracts *have* been known to have complex bugs which are also completely impossible to patch after they've been released onto an unsuspecting public.
gollark: If I actually cared about that for some bizarre reason, it would presumably be possible to just copy the NFT code and patch that out.
gollark: Surely if you want to duplicate it you could just... use the *same* seed, again...?
gollark: So I decided to look at the website on a device which could actually render the sculpture thing, and looking at the FAQ, this seems... odd...:> Each unique seed is stored immutably on the blockchain, and while seeds are case-sensitive, your seed (and therefore, your sculpture) cannot be duplicated by anyone.... *what* does case sensitivity have to do with anything? How can it "not be duplicated"?
