Chionodes whitmanella

Chionodes whitmanella is a moth in the family Gelechiidae.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from south-western Manitoba and eastern Washington to Colorado, Arizona and California.[2][3]

The wingspan is 11–13 mm. The forewings are light yellowish brown with two blackish-fuscous spots in the cell about the middle. A similar spot is found slightly before the basal third. The hindwings are pale fuscous white.[4]
