Species
The genus only includes two species:[1][2]
- Cheilodactylus fasciatus – redfingers
- Cheilodactylus pixi – barred fingerfin
The genus used to also contain species currently assigned to Chirodactylus, Goniistius, Morwong and Pseudogoniistius, but DNA and morphologic analyses found those species to be nested within Latridae and more derived than the kelpfish and marblefish and the Cheilodactylus type species (C. fasciatus).[2][3][4]
gollark: I'm sure the performance will be great and you definitely won't have vast reams of code spawning processes all over the place.
gollark: `termion` for Rust has support for it, I think, but you're using only lua.
gollark: Well, there's probably a lua library for it.
gollark: In any case, it doesn't actually matter outside of "I need to write hello world in blue 500 times in a millisecond" scenarios.
gollark: https://osmarks.ml/git/osmarks/terminal-speedtests - there is the source; it's in Rust, so just running `cargo bench` if you have the stuff installed will work.
