Central District (Miandoab County)

The Central District of Miandoab County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان میاندوآب‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Miandoab County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 197,791, in 49,046 families.[1] The District has one city: Miandoab. The District has six rural districts (dehestan): Marhemetabad Rural District, Marhemetabad-e Jonubi Rural District, Mokriyan-e Shomali Rural District, Zarrineh Rud Rural District, Zarrineh Rud-e Jonubi Rural District, and Zarrineh Rud-e Shomali Rural District.
