Catocala umbrosa

Catocala umbrosa is a moth of the family Erebidae first described by Vernon Antoine Brou Jr. in 2002.[1] It is found from Missouri and Louisiana east to Cuba and north through New Jersey to Canada.

Adults are on wing from April to August. There is one generation per year. The illustrated adult in this posting is not Catocala umbrosa, and no where is this species found in Cuba. False information on this page.
