Cassandra, Georgia

Cassandra is an unincorporated community in Walker County, in the U.S. state of Georgia.[1]

History

A post office called Cassandra was established in 1855, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1950.[2] The community was named after the Cassandra, the ship an early settler had traveled in on a transatlantic voyage.[3] An early variant name was "Hiniard's Crossroad".[4]

gollark: For the first one, the half life is 30 years and the time is 90 years. So it's 3 half lives (90/30) so its mass halves 3 times, so the mass at the end is 1\*(1/2)\*(1/2)\*(1/2)=1\*(1/2)³=0.125.
