Carrier Trail is a 2020 indie adventure game created by CrackedGhostGames. The player controls a courier who is hired by the king of Newhelm in a quest to deliver a package to the royal family in Dewshield.[1]

It os inspired by the 1985 text-based video game The Oregon Trail, which its themes through modern fantasy and spoof adventure. The game was released on July 1, 2020 to Steam.[2]

Gameplay

Carrier Trail is fantasy role-playing video game with a hand-drawn overworld 8,176 pixels wide. The player journeys in each randomly generated events, visit landmarks, towns and other locations in search of supplies.

Development

Carrier Trail's development was started in late 2018, through Kickstarter was launched on December 24 with a goal of $800, it was mostly financed and ended on February 22, 2019, with US$3,889 raised by 413 backers.[3]
