Caradrina

Caradrina is a genus of moths of the family Noctuidae. The genus was erected by Ferdinand Ochsenheimer in 1816. It is divided into eight subgenera,[1] including Paradrina and Platyperigea, which are treated as separate genera by some authors.

By 1989, about 189 described species were included in the genus.[2]

Description

Its eyes are naked and without lashes. The proboscis is well developed. Palpi upturned, where the second joint evenly clothed with hair. Thorax and abdomen tuftless. Tibia spineless. Cilia non-crenulate.[3]
