Car sprint
In Australian motor racing, a sprint is a timed event where the winning car is the vehicle that records the fastest time.
- Not to be confused with sprint car racing
Circuit sprints A number of cars travel the circuit at once. Aggressive overtaking is not allowed, in fact many sprint organisers only allow overtaking along the straights
Super sprints Similar to circuit sprints, possibly more aggressive.
Street sprints A public road is closed and a course set. Often concrete and steel barricades are used to line the course.
