About the Cape Symphony

Artistic Director and Conductor Jung-Ho Pak[1] leads the professional musicians of the Cape Symphony, joined by emerging and world-class guest artists. The mission is described on the Cape Symphony website: "At the Cape Symphony, our mission is to inspire joy. Plain and simple. We believe in having fun, sharing beauty and making people feel wonderful. We hire charismatic performers and our passionate conductor Jung-Ho Pak guides them - and the audience - on an amazing journey.[2]"

The season includes five Masterpiece and three CapePOPS performances, plus a New Year's Day Party and a special June event, all held in the 1,400-seat Barnstable Performing Arts Center[3] in Hyannis, MA. During the summer, the orchestra performs for thousands of residents and vacationers at outdoor events, including the annual Symphony at the Seashore which takes place at the Cape Cod National Seashore.

The Cape Symphony is supported by exceptional trustees and staff,[4] generous sponsors and supporters,[5] and enthusiastic volunteers.[6]

gollark: What?
gollark: It has nicer features and some worse ones: bugginess, WIP autocrafting (mostly works, though), pluggableish backends (so you could theoretically implement "send over drone" as a storage backend), introspection module support (items direct to inventory), no GUI (unless <@307926450059870208> got that sorted), and a cooler name.
gollark: It's my client/server storage solution.
gollark: You could also use Dragon.
gollark: Don't be such a llama.
