Canyon Heights Elementary School

Canyon Heights Elementary School is a school located in the district municipality of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The school has approximately 365 students from kindergarten to grade 7.[1] The school offers various sports for the senior grades such as basketball and volleyball as well as track and field for intermediate grades (4 to 7). There is also a band and strings program. After graduation, students move on to Handsworth Secondary School.

In 2016 the grade 6 class of Canyon Heights Elementary School participated in the First Art First Step program where students drew their artistic representations of social issues regarding the First Nation residential schools. Parents and guests attended including the superintendent Mike Pearmain.

The Canyon Heights School Community will provide a safe and active learning environment which encourages our children to develop self-reliance, respect and responsibility enabling them to meet future challenges.[2]
