Caleb Dorsey

Caleb Dorsey served in the California legislature.[1] He should not be confused with his cousin Caleb W. Dorsey who served in the Army of the Confederate States of America.[2]

Caleb Dorsey was a Harvard Law School graduate from Maryland who in 1850 joined the California Gold Rush. He served as a district attorney and legislator in California.
