Bullock, South Dakota

Bullock is a ghost town in Harding County, in the U.S. state of South Dakota.[1]

History

Bullock was laid out in 1911, and named in honor of Seth Bullock, a Western sheriff.[2] A post office called Bullock was established in 1911, and remained in operation until 1957.[3] It was founded on the homestead of Knute Boresen Grasby.[4]

gollark: Custom ROMs are *mostly* available on popular Android phones, for a while, but it is not ideal...
gollark: Rather than having to download everything from the Apple walled garden.
gollark: Probably not hugely often, but it's important to *me* from a freedom perspective.
