Bucculatrix brunnescens
Bucculatrix brunnescens is a moth in the family Bucculatricidae. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Maine and South Dakota. It was described in 1963 by Annette Frances Braun.

The wingspan is 6.5 mm. The forewings are whitish with a slight ocherous tinge and dusted with scattered brownish ocherous scales. The hindwings are pale greyish, faintly ocherous tinged. Adults have been recorded on wing in July.[2]
