According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 12.1 square miles (31 km2), all of it land.
Demographics
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 58 people, 20 households, and 16 families residing in the township. The population density was 4.8 people per square mile (1.9/km2). There were 20 housing units at an average density of 1.7/sq mi (0.6/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.17% of the population.
There were 20 households, out of which 35.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.0% were married couples living together, and 20.0% were non-families. 20.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.90 and the average family size was 3.31.
In the township the population was spread out, with 27.6% under the age of 18, 13.8% from 18 to 24, 25.9% from 25 to 44, 20.7% from 45 to 64, and 12.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
