Biography
Born in Tasmania, Lea grew up in Queensland and Papua New Guinea, moving to San Diego to study at California State University.[1] She has completed a PhD at University of Queensland and currently teaches there in the School of English, Media Studies and Art History.
She was a member of the Literature Board of the Australia Council from 2005–2008.[2]
Lea appeared in two events at the 2017 Brisbane Writers Festival in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.[3]
