gollark: According to the unofficial documentation I can find, it is *meant* to be encrypted in online mode.
gollark: Actually, Minecraft server networking *is* encrypted since 12w17a in online mode, using their own bizarre home-grown protocol instead of TLS because of course.
gollark: Although maybe a standard process manager interface would make sense, as most OSes have SOMETHING like that.
gollark: The trouble is that a standard SDK wouldn't make sense unless they all have basically the same features.
