[27] The ballet featured new choreography by Jamar Roberts of Alvin Ailey and was performed by Patricia Delgado formerly of the Miami City Ballet. [28]
In 2019 the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Works & Process series commissioned Baker with a special program “The Choreography of Light” dedicated to his work as a lighting designer for ballet.[29] The New York Times featured Brandon Stirling Baker's work as a special profile in the January 2019 Arts and Leisure section. [30]

In light : of the time considers the realities of police violence and the impact of COVID-19 especially on minorities, with a series of images projected onto the interior surfaces of a barn designed by famous architect Stanford White. The installation premiered August 1st, 2020, featuring the work of Jamar Roberts, Hope Boykin, Carl Hancock Rux and Alan C. Edwards. [31][32]
