History

Brandon got its start when the Burlington Railroad was extended to that point.[2] A post office called Brandon was established in 1890.[3] The origin of the name Brandon is unclear. It might be either the name of a railroad official, or named after a place in Ohio.[4]

gollark: I mean, you know it has 2 as a factor, and you know it divided by 2 isn't prime, implying it must have multiple prime factors (actually, *is* that the case given square numbers' existence? hmmm.)
gollark: Well, if 0 = 1 then obviously 2 = 3.
gollark: There isn't one unique answer there.
gollark: That's, er, all numbers, though.
