Bossiaea bracteosa
Bossiaea bracteosa, commonly known as mountain leafless bossiaea, is a species of flowering plant in the pea family, Fabaceae.[1] It is endemic to Victoria, Australia, where it occurs in snowgum woodland. It has broad, flat leafless branches and grows to between 0.7 and 2 metres in height. Flowers appear between November and December in its native range. The seed pods are around 2.3 to 3.2 cm long and up to 1 cm wide. These are reddish-brown at maturity.[2] The species was formally described in 1864 by Victorian Government Botanist Ferdinand von Mueller based on plant material collected in the Australian Alps.[1]
