Blue Crow Media
Blue Crow Media is a London-based independent map and app publisher founded in 2010 by Derek Lamberton.[1] Its early publications include a series of food and drink city guides,[2][3] and since 2015 the publisher has put out a series of “handsome architectural guides”.[4] The New York Times has described the maps as "part design manifesto, part urban architecture guide".[5]

History
In 2015 Blue Crow Media published their first architecture guide, Brutalist London Map,[6] which was followed by Art Deco London Map,[7] Constructivist Moscow Map,[8] Brutalist Washington Map,[9] Modern Berlin Map ,[10] Brutalist Paris Map,[11] Brutalist Sydney Map,[12] Modernist Belgrade Map,[13] Brutalist Boston Map,[14] Concrete New York Map,[15] and Concrete Tokyo Map.[16] London Underground Architecture & Design Map[17] by Mark Ovenden is the first in a new series dedicated to the architecture and design of public transport systems.[18] In 2017, Blue Crow Media’s Lamberton was shortlisted by Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards for the London Book Fair Innovation in Travel Publishing Award.[19]
