Background

The song is about Zelmerlöw's dark past and it details how he fought to become a better person. The song is like a window to his soul. He wrote the song about his son Albert. Lyrically, he comes out as someone who is trying to be a good and non-judgemental father, "Don't grow up to be me, grow up to be you". He is undoubtedly encouraging his baby boy to become one of the heroes of his own time.[5]

Music video

A music video to accompany the release of "Better Now" was first released onto YouTube on 14 June 2019 at a total length of three minutes and ten seconds.[6]

gollark: The closest thing is the LAN command daemon, for administration on local networks, which Tau *gained* a while ago, but it only allows shutdown, reboot and update or something like that.
gollark: Nope! Tau dropped that ages ago.
gollark: Interesting fact: there is a dedicated PotatOS backup bunker in case of all life on the surface of the overworld being wiped out. It's a solid sphere of bedrock buried in some location somewhere with storage, dedicated melon machines, a trilaterator, and a copy of the potatOS DSK.
gollark: Yep!
gollark: After the Guardian Incident potatOS does not have EZCopy™ enabled on SC, even though that was caused by a bizarre CC race condition or something.
