Benild Joseph

Benild Joseph (born 15 May 1992) is an Indian white hat hacker,[1] TEDx Speaker[2][3] and cyber security researcher.[4] He is currently the President of Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), India Chapter.[5] and Advisory Board Member of Cybersecurity Ventures.[6]

He has been featured in the book Hacking the Hacker[7][8] authored by Roger Grimes. Silicon India Magazine has listed him as one of the top 8 Ethical Hackers of India.[9]

Early life

Benild Joseph was born in Wayanad, Kerala and studied in Infant Jesus English Medium School. His interest in technology prompted his mother to send him to a computer institute where he later learnt programming, coding. His penchant towards technology led him to hacking.[10]

Career

He is working with eBay, Tesco, Citigroup, law enforcement agencies and government organizations in India, by helping them in dealing with cyber threats and in safeguarding digital assets.[11][12][13][14]
