Benedikt Röcker

Benedikt Röcker (born 19 November 1989) is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Wehen Wiesbaden.

Career

VfB Stuttgart

Röcker made his debut for the first team of VfB Stuttgart on 6 December 2012 during the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League group stage against Molde FK.[1] On 15 December 2012, he made his Bundesliga debut against 1. FSV Mainz 05.

On 10 January 2013, Röcker extended his contract with VfB Stuttgart until June 2015.[2]

Greuther Fürth

In January 2014, Röcker moved to second tier club SpVgg Greuther Fürth.[3] He won his maiden first team call-up for Greuther Fürth's league match at home versus Karlsruher SC on 14 February. He played all 90 minutes and scored the equaliser in the 1–1 draw.[4]

Brøndby IF

In June 2016, Röcker moved to Brøndby IF.[5] On 10 May 2018, he scored a crucial goal as Brøndby beat Silkeborg IF 31 in the 2017–18 Danish Cup final.[6]

Wehen Wiesbaden

On 13 June 2019, Röcker joined newly promoted 2. Bundesliga club SV Wehen Wiesbaden on a two-year contract, on a free transfer.[7][8]
