Belsonic

Belsonic is the name of an outdoor music festival which has taken place in August at the Custom House Square in Belfast, Northern Ireland since 2008. It is organised by Shine Productions Ltd.[1] The capacity of the event is 15,000 as of 2019.[2] As of 2017, Belsonic is held in Ormeau Park.

2018

Belsonic 2018 was announced on Friday 27 October, it would continue to be held in Ormeau Park due to the success Belsonic had there last year.[3]

2017

Belsonic 2017 was announced on Friday 16 December, they confirmed their new home, Ormeau Park, for their 2017 shows to allow for even more capacity from the previous year at Titanic Belfast.

2016

The first eight acts for Belsonic 2016 were announced on Thursday 25 February, confirming their new location at Titanic Belfast - The Slipways, allowing the festival to have a bigger line up and bigger capacity.

In August a further range of acts was announced to be held at the Titanic Slipways, Madness, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Fatboy Slim, Disclosure and The Corrs were among the acts lined up for the new gigs at Titanic Belfast.[4]

2015

Belsonic 2015 was announced in March 2015 with 7 shows being held in August. This was the last time Belsonic has been held in Custom House Square, Belfast.
