Belenois calypso

Belenois calypso, the Calypso white or Calypso caper white, is a butterfly in the family Pieridae. It is found in Senegal, the Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Angola, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of forests. The species occasionally migrates.

The larvae feed on Semirestis paniculata, Maerua, Cadaba, Capparis and Ritchiea species.
