Design and development
The Sunrise is made from aluminum tubing, with the wing covered in polyester sailcloth. Its 10.2 m (33.5 ft) span wing has a nose angle of 132° and an aspect ratio of 8:1. The aircraft has a broad hook-in weight range from 65 to 100 kg (143.3 to 220.5 lb).[1]
The Sunrise was produced in just one size, with a wing area of 13 sq ft (1.2 m2). It was certified as DHV 2-3.[1]
