Bas van 't Wout
Bastiaan "Bas" van 't Wout (born 22 April 1979)[1] is a Dutch politician who has served as State Secretary for Social Affairs and Employment since 9 July 2020.[2] A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), he served as a member of the House of Representatives between 20 September 2012 and 2 July 2020.[1]
A native of Amersfoort, Van 't Wout became a municipal councillor of Amsterdam following the 2006 election.[1] Previously he was political assistant to fellow party members Geert Dales and Mark Rutte.[1]
