Athletics

The Barren County High School athletic teams are known as the Trojans. The school colors are burgundy, gold, and white, a similar color scheme to that of the University of Southern California, whose collegiate teams are also called the Trojans. The school’s main rivalries are with the Scotties of Glasgow High School, as well as the athletic teams of Allen County-Scottsville and Monroe County high schools.

All of the Barren County Trojans games are streamed live at the school’s athletic department’s YouTube channel. [3] Radio broadcasts of the school’s football and basketball games are broadcast on Horse Cave-licensed but locally based WHHT, and online at ESPNKY.com, which is the website of ESPN Radio affiliates WCDS/Glasgow and WWKU/Plum Springs.[4]

At some point in the early 1990s, the Barren County High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleading Squads competed in the National Cheerleading Championships, which were held in Dallas, Texas. The squads made it into the championship match.[5]

gollark: Oddly enough my laptop doesn't seem to have an IPv6 public address, but my servers *do*.
